We are also able to provide police, working with children and other checks required to work in the hospital environment, and are fully insured for public liability.

Over 15 years in the industry

After more than 15 years in the industry, we are the painting service of choice for large buildings such as hospitals. Not only do we provide a quality outcome, but we are experienced in working at height, covering large and important equipment, and working in a complex environment.

PREMIUM, LONG- LASTING PAINTWORK

Painting your hospital is a large and complex project, so it must last for many years in good condition. We use specially selected paints to ensure high-quality pigments and binders that result in a long-lasting, fade-resistant, washable and hard-wearing finish that stands up to the wear and tear of commercial buildings such as hospitals.

Precise Attention To Detail

We want your hospital to be a place that looks reassuring and professional as soon as visitors approach the building. Part of that is achieved with paintwork that is well-executed, with precious attention to detail in the quality of application, including sharp edges and smooth finishes.

Warranties, Accreditations & Insurances

Your hospital is a public place. As such, we are covered by public liability insurance, and can also provide police and working with children checks as well as any other references required. We provide a six year workmanship warranty on all our work, so you know your new paintwork will last the distance.

We take great care to protect your hospital rooms

With expensive equipment and the importance of hygiene being essential in your hospital, we take extreme care to ensure everything is covered and protected before beginning the painting process.

Furniture & Fixture Protection

Hospital equipment and furniture comes in all shapes and sizes and must be protected from damage, dust and dripping paint. We take the greatest possible care to protect your valuable assets throughout our time on your premises. This includes coverings using clean commercial-grade drop sheets, wrapping and taping.

Floor Covering

We maintain your pristine hospital floors using clean, commercial quality drop sheets, to ensure they remain undamaged during the repair, preparation and painting process.

Wall & Ceiling Preparation

We are mindful that areas such as operating theatres and wards must be clean and free of peeling or flaking paint. The walls and ceilings of all areas of the hospital will be meticulously prepared, and repaired if required, to create a smooth base on which to apply paint. This helps to ensure a finish that will not peel, flake or cause other potential health hazards.

Tape & Protective Edging

Painter’s tape and protective edging ensure that your paintwork is finished with crisp, sharp edges and no bleeds onto other surfaces. This is what differentiates a good paint job from an outstanding one.

We restore all surface damage, so don't stress about the minor repairs

Restoring surface damage is all part of our painting service, so there’s no need to worry about cracks, holes, peeling or flaking paint, mould, mildew, damaged caulk, gaps or joints. Our years of experience when it comes to surface repairs means you will see only a perfect finish when we’re done.

Why we use the best quality paint for your hospital?

Quality paint not only provides the best durability and colour retention, its low VOC level ensures better air quality for your hospital and protection for your patients from the compounds that are potential health risks, especially to those with asthma and other respiratory illnesses.

durability and longevity

Painting a hospital is a huge financial commitment and can take time to complete, so you don’t want to repeat the process too soon. We ensure your new paint will continue to look fabulous and last for many years. We achieve this through attention to detail in preparation, repairs and paint application.

Eco-Friendly & Easy to Wash

We use the highest quality paints in hospitals because they are safe and easy to keep clean. Not only are they durable, but they are low in VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) as well as mould and mildew resistant. This helps to maintain a clean and safe environment in your hospital, especially for young patients or people with respiratory illnesses in your care. VOCs are often used as solvents to keep paint liquid. As the paint dries, these compounds are released into the air, and can cause adverse health effects, such as respiratory irritation, and headaches. Our extremely low VOC content mitigates any of these issues.

Improved Aesthetics and Colour Retention

Our selectively chosen paints boast an impressive blend of enhanced aesthetics and long-lasting colour retention. Their innovative formulations yield vibrant, rich hues that breathe life into any space, elevating its aesthetic appeal. Through advanced technology, our range resist fading, ensuring colours remain vivid and true over time. Whether applied indoors or outdoors, these paints maintain their brilliance, enduring exposure to sunlight, moisture, and everyday wear. Our paints ensure surfaces receive not only a visually striking makeover but also long-term durability. From soft pastels to bold primaries, our range offer a spectrum of colours that stand the test of time, enhancing the beauty of any environment.

Our specialised painting process

1

Sealing The Surface

After the surface has been repaired, it’s time for preparation, which means a coat of quality primer, sealer undercoat. This ensures your colour coats adhere properly to the surface, and even application. A good quality thick primer also protects the underlying material, such as plasterboard, weatherboard or brick, from corrosion and other damage. Badly prepared and primed surfaces cause your paint to peel, so we ensure the most thorough cleaning, best quality products and application.

2

Coating Application

This second layer, applied over the primer, is the first coat of your chosen colour. At this stage you won’t get the full depth of the colour, but you will start to see the effect. We choose to use high-quality paint to ensure durable ingredients that result in a thick, long-lasting paint surface that prevents bleed through from the subsurface and gives depth to the final coat.

3

FINISHING COAT

This is the second colour coat. The thick smooth quality of our paint provides an even finish as well as an extra layer of protection and durability for the surface. The second coat allows the full depth of the colour to be seen, enhances its gloss and shine, and ensures a long-lasting result that will be easy to clean, and is resistant to fading and scuffing.

How to check you are getting a quality painter, whoever you decide on!

Ask for their trade license or registration

In WA only registered or licensed painters can legally carry out painting work over $1000. Qualified painters and decorators are trained tradespeople who have been trained in all the techniques to achieve a long-lasting, quality finish. Always ask any painter whom you are considering hiring for their license or registration number.

Check their reputation

Check the WA Register of Painters to see if the painter you are considering hiring is genuinely registered, as required for any painting work over $1000, or has any complaints lodged against them.

Ask for references

Ask any painter you are considering hiring for references for previous jobs, and make sure you give them a call. Photos may not show imperfections, so it’s a good idea to talk to people who’ve had work done.

What are VOCs?

olatile Organic Compounds, or VOCs, are a group of chemical compounds that can easily evaporate into the air at room temperature. These compounds contain carbon and are known for their ability to contribute to air pollution and potentially pose health risks. VOCs can be emitted from a variety of sources, including certain paints, solvents, cleaning products, and building materials.

In the context of paints, VOCs are often used as solvents to keep the paint in a liquid state and facilitate its application. As the paint dries, these compounds are released into the air, contributing to indoor air pollution. Prolonged exposure to high levels of VOCs may lead to adverse health effects, such as respiratory irritation, headaches, and other symptoms.

To address environmental and health concerns, many manufacturers now produce low-VOC or zero-VOC paints. These formulations contain reduced or no harmful VOCs, making them more environmentally friendly and promoting healthier indoor air quality.
